ICICI Lombard Launches ‘IL TakeCare’ App to Transform OPD Health Insurance

ICICI Lombard one of the leading general insurance companies in India along with Practo announced the launch of a health insurance app ‘IL TakeCare’ to Transform OPD health Insurance this Wednesday.

IL TakeCare app lets users manage personal health data, book medical appointments, get the medicines delivered at your doorstep after ordering online and view reports. It gives you access to doctors, diagnostic labs & pharmacy and provides real-time claim approval making it truly a cashless experience for India’s one of its kind primary health cover. Your Health record data is stored digitally, hence makes it easily accessible.

The ‘IL TakeCare’ application works in sync with Practo’s ‘Trinity’ technology, helps patients get a cashless and paperless experience for everyday healthcare needs such as doctor visits (including those who operate stand-alone clinics), medicine purchase, online consultations as well as diagnostic tests. This unique solution covers Outpatient (OPD) expenses of all its customers.

It facilitates the real-time view of personal health records as well as benefits, billings and transactions for service providers. It comes with a one-time password (OTP) for all transactions via mobile or email and provides multiple access points for family members. The solution will be made available to customers with due consent of the regulator.
